Study Break

It has been too long since I’ve posted anything up, and too many things have happened which I have reluctantly failed to record. Oh well. What to do? Catch up things now I guess, but there are too many to recall and  reiterating them again would be redundant, like doing the chicken dance repetitively – there is no sense of purpose. Right now I’m actually studying economics – it is my off day – and I must say, I usually despise the thought of money and all it’s adhering properties, however, my oh my, I actually find economics delightfully fascinating! It takes a bit to wrap my head around some concepts as I am a noob to all of it, but once I understand it, I find myself drawn in. In a way economics is like art, the art of how the world runs, and the world runs on money (sad to say), hence economics. I’m not a fan of business, but economics doesn’t seem like business really, it can be applied to anything, politically and personally. And I find myself all of a sudden making sense of all the newspaper articles, the same ones that I’d typically skip because I dislike anything to do with money. I usually read things either political or just news, but now I know all the those articles I skip are actually fundamentally affecting politics and global news as well. I never took a economist viewpoint on any of them, perhaps only from a psychologist point of view or sociologist, but never economist.

I’ve studied for about an hour and a half now, so I’m taking a break to let it all sink in before I continue to the next chapter.

Recap events:
After Xmas party was fun, although people left and people came all at different times, the main bunch, we all had loads of fun playing games.

New Years Eve was one helluva crazy night, driving around to and fro. First, Jaai and I hit Christs party at Stallion, then went to Anna’s place for countdown with Kristi, Jess, Vin, Brian, and Sam. Then we stole our friends and took them back to Christs shindig, and by then everyone there was hammered. We ended the night at McDs, I had an ice cream cone. That night, in the New Years something dramatic happened, but I’ll just leave it at that.

Next following day, party at Bay Waters poolside. More games, and more drinks.

Day following that, Nicole’s bday party which ended up at Mois. Some people couldn’t get in, so we left early, but I did get a few minutes on the dance floor thanks to Weelee who got me in. It pays to know people.

My birthday party: it was a gongshow – for me anyway. I passed out at 1.30 and the party went on without me. I would recap, but I don’t have much to recap about, cept the music was awesome, the party was great, and for when I was awake I had an awesome time. Next morning, Vin and I cleaned the place, went for Subway, met up with Brian and Jake and went to get my tattoo – a present from my friends. The gifts were awesome too, cereal, a cool ashtray that I will use for Kuaci, and a Nike backpack.

Actual birthday: I received a tonne of wishes personally and online, and that really made my day. The family and I went to Sawara for dinner, then I went to game it with Vin, Kristi, Christopher, and Jaai. Left for dead 2 is hella fun!

And it’s been 30 mins, shit, my break lasted more than I intended – 15 mins over.
I’m re-adjusting myself accordingly, and I feel tremendous. However, there are still some lingering emotions that are intact, and I can’t seem to let go completely, but like usual, I can make do and just go with the flow. =)
